1. The Nature of the Service

Latent is an end-to-end encrypted digital darkroom designed for psychological journaling and the generation of visual artifacts. By using our service, you acknowledge that Latent is an artistic and personal reflection tool, not a substitute for professional psychiatric, psychological, or medical evaluation.

2. Subscriptions and Consumables

Our service operates on a hybrid model. You may secure a recurring monthly capacity as "The Patron", or acquire non-expiring "Catalyst Cartridges" for additional digital film rolls. These represent computational resources and secure storage allocations. Due to the compute-heavy nature of cognitive manifestation, all acquisitions are final, non-refundable, and hold no fiat monetary value outside of the Latent ecosystem.

3. Content Moderation and Conduct

You agree not to use Latent to process, generate, or reflect upon illegal, highly explicit, pornographic, excessively violent, or horrific material. To ensure compliance and safety, both our internal processing mechanisms and related cognitive providers employ strict safety filters during the raw text phase. Any deliberate attempt to bypass these constraints, or generate prohibited content, will result in the immediate termination of your access and account without refund.
